The Quiet Rib Beanie is a simple, comforting knit designed for relaxed evenings and mindless stitching. Worked bottom-up in classic 1×1 rib, this beanie is a quick project you can finish in just a few sittings, making it perfect for last-minute gifts or a satisfying cast-on between bigger projects.

The pattern keeps things intentionally simple, letting the rhythm of ribbing do the work. The result is a timeless, unisex hat with a flexible fit that suits almost everyone. Knit it once, and you’ll likely come back to it again and again.

  • Yarn: approx. 70–80 g DK-weight yarn (about 240 m per 100 g)

  • Needles: 4 mm (US 6) 16-inch circular needles, plus 4 mm (US 6) DPNs
  • Notions: scissors, tapestry needle, measuring tape, stitch markers
