What Happened at ColourPopCrafts in April

April has been one of those months that I know I will look back on for a long time.

It was a month of firsts, small steps, and meaningful moments that reminded me why I started ColourPopCrafts in the first place.

ColourPopCrafts Hampstead Indoor Market

My First Market

At the beginning of the month, I attended my first market.

I was a little nervous, if I’m honest. Selling online feels very different from standing behind a table and meeting people face to face. But it turned out to be such a lovely experience.

The most important part was not the sales. It was the people.

I met so many of you, and we talked about your projects, your favourite yarns, and the tools you love.

New Yarns in the Shop

April was also the month I introduced new yarn brands to the shop.

I added Kremke and Cowgirl Blues, both of which I had been wanting to bring in for a while. They are beautiful yarns, especially for socks, and I’m really excited to see what you will make with them.

Moving Into the Studio

Another big step was getting the keys to my new studio at the beginning of April.

This studio is more than just a workspace. It’s where I keep the yarn, pack your orders, and make tools. But it’s also a place where we can meet, sit together, knit, and talk about your projects.

And then came the Studio Open Day. This was one of my favourite moments of the month.

It was small, cozy, and exactly what I hoped it would be. People came in, we sat together, and talked about yarn, tools, and ideas. Some of you shared your projects, and someone even started their first sock project right there in the studio.

Looking Back

April was not just about new products or new spaces.

It was about connection.

Meeting you in person and hearing your stories has been inspiring.

Thank you to everyone who came to the market, visited the studio, or supported the shop in any way. It truly means a lot!
