Studio Open Day: A Cosy, Lovely First

This weekend felt really special to me. We opened the studio doors to visitors for the very first time, and it turned into something truly magical.

The space came alive in a way I hadn't quite anticipated. We talked about yarn, tools, and projects. We shared ideas, compared notes on favourite sock constructions, and swapped stories over the soft click of needles. And then someone cast on their very first pair of socks, right there in the studio.

That moment made everything feel completely worthwhile.

I didn't film much. I was too caught up in the moment, and honestly, I think that was exactly right. Some things deserve to just be experienced rather than captured. The warmth in the room, the genuine enthusiasm people brought, I wanted to be fully present for all of it.

Seeing people in this space in real life, sharing it with the community that has grown up around this little shop, made me so happy. Thank you to everyone who came.

I really hope to do this again, and next time, I hope to see even more of you.
