Let's knit socks together!
I moved to a new studio, and it is time for a Sock Knitting Workshop!
I know sock knitting may feel a bit scary. All these tiny needles and heel constructions. I would like to show you that it is easier than it seems, and you definitely can knit socks.
Over three sessions, I'll take you from cast-on to your very first finished sock, step by step, at a relaxed pace.
Here's how it works:
- Session 1, 07/11/2026: sizing and casting on.
- Session 2, 14/11/2026: the heel, the bit everyone worries about, and you'll be fine!

Session 3, 21/11/2026: finishing and casting off
All sessions run 13:00 - 15:00 at my studio in Finsbury Park (Unit 1.5, 159-163 Marlborough Road, N19 4NF).
Full Kit includes:
Sock yarn, needles and a printed sock pattern, plus tea, biscuits and plenty of help.
Already have your own yarn? Choose the "I have my own yarn and needles" option.
You'll need 100g of 4-ply / fingering weight sock yarn and 80 cm (32") circular needles or DPNs in size 2.25 or 2.5 mm.
Just want the heel? Choose the heel-only option.
Join us for Session 2 only. It's for knitters who've started a sock before and want to nail the heel.
You'll need to know how to knit and purl, and that's it. If you're not sure whether you're ready, just reply to this email and ask me.
